Meet the Heroes of Stuufeiland
The honest Berk is the caring nature lover who wants to know everything about the forest. Bella is the patient and orderly sea dweller who teaches lessons in her underwater school. Buur is the prankster and daredevil who turns every day into a party with his flying ideas and half-finished constructions. Bliz is the energetic and tough adventurer who dares to do anything and dreams of a famous vlog. Finally, there is the blue owl Cobus, the gentle hug champion who brings comfort and joy with his warm high fives. Together, they experience the best adventures!
“Stuufhoi!” – when you hear that, you know Berk is nearby! With his green hat tilted on his head, a notebook full of facts, and his trusty birch wood stick, he explores the nature of Stuufeiland daily. Berk is strong, honest, and caring. A true friend to people, animals, and trees.
He knows everything about plants, flowers, and animals (well, almost everything... because he still wants to learn much more). In his notebook, he writes new Trail Sayings every day, secret phrases that appear in the sand. Berk doesn't like arguments or bullying; he prefers to quickly make amends.
His favorite color is green, just like the forest where he likes to hide with his binoculars. He enjoys eating nuts and fruit, sings loudly "Cobus is the best!" for his owl friend, and dreams of a world where he knows everything about nature and perhaps one day finds the perfect gift for Bella.
Bella is caring, patient, and always lends a listening ear to everyone. When something goes wrong, she is the only one who stays calm. She loves structure and order (mess? That gives her the jitters!). She doesn't hesitate to roll up her sleeves to get everything neat and clean again.
Bella is busy and often does a hundred and one things at once. She takes care of the household, of Berk, and of her students in the underwater school. There, she teaches fish, seahorses, and even dolphins how to cooperate and be kind to each other.
Bella loves peace, honesty, and friendliness. She always tries to keep the peace. Her favorite color is blue, just like the sea where she feels most at home. She likes to eat fruit and seaweed and sings her favorite song, "Sing de Zandstuve!", with full conviction.
“Welcome to my new vlog!” – that's how Bliz starts her day on Stuufeiland, full of energy, courage, and a big smile. With her pink watch, striking belt, and a bag full of sports gear, she is always on her way to her next adventure. Bliz is tough, funny, and afraid of nothing. Whether it's climbing, running, or facing a wild forest animal – her answer is always: “I dare to do that!”
Bliz is the most adventurous resident of Stuufeiland. She loves everything that is exciting, new, or a little bit crazy. Her curiosity constantly drives her to search for something unique, and this results in the best stories.
Her favorite color is pink (“because that's tough too!”) and she is crazy about strawberry ice cream. She trains every day to become even stronger, because her dream is to be the strongest woman in the world. Besides that, she wants to save all the forgotten trees of Stuufeiland and become super famous with her vlog.
Buur is a real prankster with a heart of gold. He comes up with the funniest tricks and knows how to turn every day into a party. Sometimes he just wants to do a little too much at once. His ideas fly in all directions, and before you know it, Stuufeiland is filled with half-finished constructions and a trail of cheerful mess. "Oops, just kidding!" he then says with a broad grin.
Behind all those jokes hides a brave daredevil who never lets his friends down. He is determined, tough, and a little overconfident – fortunately, his best friend Bliz is there to help him out of trouble.
Waiting? He finds it awful. Emotional family moments? He'd rather run away from those. Buur loves everything that has to do with having fun. He builds, plays sports, bakes, and deep-fries as if his life depends on it. His favorite dish? Fries, of course – according to him, they are "edible sunbeams!"
Meet Cobus the Owl – the biggest, bluest, and sweetest friend on all of Stuufeiland! With his soft feathers, kind eyes, and wide wings, he's impossible to miss. He might look a bit impressive when you first see him, but don't be alarmed: Cobus is anything but scary!
Cobus is crazy about cuddling and loves to share a big high five with everyone he meets. During the day, he sleeps comfortably in his treehouse, because, well... he is an owl, of course. But as soon as evening falls, he wakes up and happily flutters over Stuufeiland to see if all is well with his friends.
He can't talk, but his cheerful gestures, soft sounds, and warm hugs say more than enough. Everyone on Stuufeiland knows: if you're feeling a little sad, a hug from Cobus is the very best medicine 💙
