What’s new at Kampeerdorp de Zandstuve

We never stand still on Stuufeiland. We’re always looking for ways to make your holiday more fun, more comfortable and even better. From more opportunities to play and new accommodation to practical improvements that make your stay that little bit easier. All with the same goal: even more holiday happiness for the whole family. That’s why we’ve introduced improvements both big and small across the campsite recently. And we’re already looking ahead to 2027.

New in 2027: a brand-new sanitary building & laundry facilities

We’re starting with our biggest upcoming improvement. After the 2026 camping season, the current Cobus and Bliz sanitary buildings will make way for a brand-new sanitary building. The new building will be located on the site of the current Cobus sanitary building. This marks another major step in upgrading our camping facilities. Preparations are already underway and, if everything goes according to plan, our guests will be able to use the new sanitary building during the 2027 camping season.

We’re getting a new interactive water slide!

Choose your favourite theme on the touchscreen and slide through a world of lights, music and effects. Colourful lighting and a special sound system bring your theme to life, creating a unique atmosphere on every ride!

Touch as many interactive touchpads as you can along the way to collect points. After your ride, the scoreboard shows your speed, total score and the highest score of the day. Whether you’re aiming for the record or simply enjoying the spectacular light and sound effects, every ride is an adventure!

Outside, we have three pools with different water depths and our spectacular Crazy Cone. Inside, alongside the new slide, you’ll find another three pools, including a large pool for toddlers and young children with several slides. Plenty of water fun for every age!

New playgrounds in the camping areas

There will soon be something new to discover in our camping areas too! The playgrounds at Cobus pitches 20–42 and Bliz pitches 1–17 are being completely renewed.

Both areas will get new play equipment designed for different age groups, with plenty of fun for children under 6 and children aged 6 and over. Climbing, clambering, sliding and playing together, with holiday fun right outside your tent or caravan.

What we’ve already improved

While we’re looking ahead to 2027, quite a lot has already changed on Stuufeiland recently. Take a look!

1. New Avonturenlodges

We’ve expanded our range of accommodation with new Avonturenlodges. This gives you even more choice for a holiday on Stuufeiland, combining outdoor living with the convenience of fully equipped accommodation.

2. New Dreumes Speelplein

Our youngest guests have a new place to play too. At the Dreumes Speelplein, children aged 0 to 3 can play, climb and explore indoors in a space designed especially for their age group. A great addition for families with babies and toddlers, especially on days when the weather doesn’t cooperate.

3. Refurbished swimming pool

Our subtropical indoor pool is one of those places where families spend many hours during their holiday. That’s why we’ve made several improvements here too. The pool flooring has been replaced, and the deep pool has been refurbished. Of course, all the familiar ingredients for an afternoon of water fun are still there. From the large shallow pool for young children to the leisure pool and the 50-metre-long Crazy Cone water slide.

4. Chilz Playroom in a new location

The Chilz Playroom has moved to a new location on Stuufeiland. Here, children can enjoy air hockey, a punching bag, an interactive shooting arcade game and claw machines. Alongside swimming, outdoor play and the Cobus Speelkasteel, older children now have their own space for indoor fun too.

5.  Pizza restaurant de Haardkamer vernieuwd

Ook Pizza restaurant de Haardkamer is aangepakt. De entree is vernieuwd en binnen heeft de ruimte een nieuwe inrichting gekregen. Wat gelukkig niet is veranderd? De verse pizza's. Van verschillende klassiekers tot een echte Cobus pizza voor de jongste pizzafans.

6. New swimming pool entrance

Before you even dive into the water, you’ll come across another of our improvements. The swimming pool entrance has been given a fresh new look. It may not add to the water fun, but it makes arriving at one of our most popular facilities feel even more in keeping with Stuufeiland.

7. A fresh new look for the theatre

The theatre has had a major refresh too. The space has been repainted, and the stage has new scenery. During your holiday, this is where you can enjoy the adventures of Cobus and his friends, along with various shows and activities. A familiar spot on Stuufeiland with a fresh new look.

8. New signposts

Where was the swimming pool again? And which way is the Stuufplein? With our new signposts, you can find your way around Stuufeiland more easily. A practical improvement that comes in handy every day of your holiday.

9. New campsite map

Our signs aren’t the only things we’ve updated. Our campsite map has a fresh new look too. It gives you a clear overview of the camping areas, accommodation and facilities, helping you quickly find where you need to be.

10. Improved Wi-Fi

Watching a video, sharing holiday photos or looking something up? We’ve improved the Wi-Fi across the campsite too. Alongside all the new places to play, swim, eat and stay, we continue to invest in the practical facilities that are part of your holiday.

We blijven Stuufeiland vernieuwen

Van een compleet nieuw sanitairgebouw tot een nieuwe plattegrond: groot of klein, iedere vernieuwing heeft hetzelfde doel. Jullie vakantie op Kampeerdorp de Zandstuve steeds een beetje beter maken. En daar zijn we nog niet mee klaar. Zodra er weer nieuwe plannen zijn, voegen we ze toe aan deze pagina. Zo kunnen jullie zelf blijven volgen wat er op Stuufeiland verandert!
