During a holiday in the Netherlands with your baby, you can stay with us just the way you like: in a (glamping) accommodation or on a campsite. We offer a wide variety of holiday homes, ranging from lodges and chalets to luxurious group accommodations and even a real castle! Several accommodations offer child-friendly facilities such as high chairs, children’s cutlery and tableware. Prefer camping? Then you can choose a standard pitch or a pitch with private sanitary facilities. Both types offer 8–16 amps of electricity, their own water tap and drainage. Camping facilities for the baby

It's not without reason that our campsite has been proclaimed a five-star campsite in The Netherlands. The high-quality facilities contribute to this, of course. Your baby can have a good time splashing in the swimming pool with separate parts for toddlers and preschoolers with a depth of 15 cm and 30 cm. Specially for children up to four years of age, various activities are organized during the week, including outside of holiday periods, such as arts and crafts, dancing, singing, and theater. Now that will be a great time for your little one, and for you as a parent as well! Is the weather not ideal? Visit our indoor playground where children can play, climb, and clamber. End the day at our restaurant, where we serve children's menus. The little one will not be bored for a moment at De Zandstuve. And when your baby is having fun, you will enjoy your holiday as well! What to do during your holiday with your baby in the Netherlands

In addition to all the fun on the campsite for both you and your baby, the surrounding area is also well worth exploring! Our holiday village is located in the beautiful Vechtdal. In this nature reserve, you can enjoy wonderful walks (also with a stroller) and, with a bit of luck, spot various animals such as deer and birds of prey. It’s also nice to visit a nearby town, such as Hardenberg or Ommen. In these towns, fun activities are often organized, such as festivals, fairs, markets, and street theatre. Plenty to do during your holiday with your baby in the Netherlands!

Want to make the most of your baby holiday in the Netherlands? Then stay during our Dreumes Weeks! During these weeks we offer a special educational program focused on the development of babies, toddlers and preschoolers. By taking part in organized activities such as dancing, crafting and fun games, parents and their little ones can experience a structured daily routine while stimulating creativity, motor skills, cognition and social abilities. The Dreumes Weeks take place outside the school holidays – perfect for avoiding the peak crowds and also a more affordable period!

🧒 Are your vacation homes equipped with child-friendly facilities?

When you want to stay in a holiday home with your baby, in most cases there are also facilities available that are specially designed for children. Think of a high chair, children’s cutlery and tableware, and space for travel cots. Want to know if your favourite accommodation includes these facilities

🛌🏻 Am I responsible for bringing a camping bed?

Of course, this is allowed, but it is also possible to reserve a travel cot when making your booking or at a later time at the reception. A travel cot can be added to the booking in step 2 – upgrades.
